National
These missions draw their participants from around the country, bringing together a diverse group of people. National Missions travel to Israel, Europe and beyond, and may focus on a particular subject or area of interest. Some begin at a destination in the Jewish Diaspora and conclude with a resounding climax in Israel. Others, such as the annual Yom Ha'atzmaut Mission to celebrate Israel Independence Day, focus solely on Israel.

Community
Sometimes there's no better way to meet your neighbors than on an adventure abroad. Community missions enable people from a particular community, organization, or synagogue to travel and explore the Jewish world together. These journeys are an opportunity to meet new friends from your own community, explore and gain an understanding of the dynamics of Jewish communities worldwide, and return with a knowledge about what you – both as an individual and a community – can do to improve other people's lives.

Women's Groups
Women's missions are a great way for women to travel and explore issues unique to them. These journeys enable participants to see how their counterparts in Israel, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and other Jewish communities live. On a Women's Leadership mission, you'll see firsthand how UJC MetroWest helps Jewish women and their families worldwide, and learn what can be done to continue the progress that's already been made. And, of course, you'll enjoy the major sights and develop a sense of camaraderie with other women from your group.

Young Professionals
Our Young Leadership and singles missions for men and women are unparalleled in scope and opportunity. We offer trips to Israel and beyond, including the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. These fun-filled adventures are designed to give you an opportunity to explore your family history, learn more about your Jewish roots, make new friends, and meet the people and dignitaries of the country you're visiting. You'll have the opportunity to see the major attractions, see UJC MetroWest programs in action abroad, visit world-renowned museums, and explore local nightlife with new friends.

Business & Professional Groups
Professional and Business group missions enable people from a particular profession to travel together to see Israel, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and other Jewish communities. These adventures enable professionals to see the essential work being performed by UJC MetroWest-sponsored organizations, and to get a firsthand perspective of the communities and countries visited. They also provide professionals with the chance to meet their industry peers and to see how their professions and related businesses function overseas.

Family
These trips are specially designed to introduce teens and children over 5 to Israel and to offer a meaningful and rewarding family vacation. Together, you and your family can hike in the Golan Heights, climb the fortress of Masada, take a jeep ride through the desert, float in the Dead Sea, explore the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and explore your Jewish roots. Another facet of our family adventures is our bar/bat mitzvah program, which enables adolescents to celebrate this milestone in meaningful ways in such historic locations as Masada and the Western Wall.
