In the third episode of “Inside Israeli Basketball”, Maccabi Haifa forward, Davon Jefferson, a native of Southern California, and former San Diego High phenom Jeremy Tyler showcase their acclimation to Israeli culture off the court as they are given cooking lessons on how to make Israeli delicacies. The 30-minute magazine show is aired monthly in the US on Comcast Versus, the YES Network, SUN Sports, and Jewish Life Television. more

Haifa Hoops for Kids is a joint initiative of United Jewish Communities (UJC) of MetroWest NJ and Maccabi Haifa, an Israeli professional basketball club, that offers companies, individuals, and organizations the chance to send underprivileged youth in Haifa and the Greater Haifa area to experience a Night of Fun at a Maccabi Haifa basketball game.

• Bringing a smile to the face of a child who would otherwise not be able to afford a professional basketball event is one of the goals of UJC MetroWest and the Maccabi Haifa organization.

• The Maccabi Haifa, in coordination with UJC MetroWest, will work to distribute tickets to charitable organizations, community centers, and schools in Haifa and the Greater Haifa area.

Contributing to the Haifa Hoops for Kids program is a way to help support disadvantaged youth in Israel and create a sense of pride for yourself and your company or organization.
