 meet needs of seniors
  Parsippany LIVE, library are part of The Big Read

Parsippany LIVE, in partnership with the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library System, are part of The Big Read. The selected book is Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club. A variety of activities are scheduled, which run from mid-March through the beginning of May. Click here to learn more. The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.

Parsippany LIVE – Lifelong Involvement for Vital Elders – is creating an elder-friendly community where older residents can “age in place” with social supports; access to services; and meaningful activities that promote civic engagement, encourage independence, and help people stay safe and healthy in their own homes.  more

Metro Transport helps older adults around community

Metro Transport provides transportation to elderly and disabled clients for both medical and social purposes regardless of their ability to pay. The project – a community-wide, collaborative effort between five Jewish community agencies – began in response to the realization that lack of access to appropriate, affordable transportation is one of the most serious issues facing seniors.  more

  MetroWest CARES meeting needs of older adults

MetroWest CARES works to create a continuum of care, so that older MetroWest community members are able to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible. When more support is needed, coordination between MetroWest CARES agencies enables connections to a network of services in the Jewish community.  more
