Sarit Catz CRC: Advocacy in Action
A blog by Sarit Catz, Israel Advocacy Chair

We Still Need Israel!
Last week we celebrated Israel’s 64th birthday. Sixty-four is not a round number, but it’s still a milestone birthday, thanks to the Beatles who famously asked, “Will you still need me? Will you still feed me? When I’m 64.” Well, maybe we don’t need to feed Israel any more. Not literally. Israel is an incredibly productive member of the world community. more

Write On For Israel

Get Educated. Get Empowered.
Step Up For Israel
is a grassroots education and advocacy initiative to counter assaults on Israel's legitimacy.

Falsehoods and misinformation about Israel are appearing more regularly in the media and other respected areas of learning. Tom Friedman's New York Times op-ed, "Newt, Mitt, Bibi and Vladimir," on December 13, 2011, is an excellent example of this. To assist our community in responding to unfounded and unsubstantiated reports in the media or on college campuses, the Community Relations Committee of MetroWest and Central NJ (CRC) is sponsoring Israel education and advocacy opportunities this spring."

  • Step Up For Israel Film Series/Mini-Course is being held at 45 synagogues and organizations throughout MetroWest and more are joining everyday. The series is also being shown at the Cooperman JCC in West Orange.
